Lunch time Haul! Movies and SM2 Doc Ock

Well, it is Tuesday, which means movie day (and sometimes comic day as well now-a-days).

Lunch time Haul was not a good as I had hoped, but a little addition made the trip worth it!

Grabbed the LOTR:ROTK I had preordered, and a small surprise was I was given a lithograph with Frodo holding the ring over the fires of Mount Doom.

Also grabbed Saving Private Ryan 60th D-Day Anniversary edition, and the Extended cut of Underworld.

The down side was Bubba Ho-tep is no where to be found around me. The Suncoast only received 2 copies (how whacked it that - one of the biggest cult following movies that didn't have a proper theatrical release, and no one carries the fucking thing!). One of them was snagged by the UPS guy that brought them in, and the other was purchased by the morning attendee. Best Buy and Circuit City also had the same story, of only receiving 5 or so copies. Although I guess it isn't a bad thing as I will pick it up later, and the price was damn near close to $30.

The main surprise was a stop by TRU yielded a new action figure for the collection: The latest wave of Spider-man 2 movie figures is out, and I grabbed Dr. Ock with 30 points of articulation. Well, he had 30 points, I only really needed three points to reach and get him off the peg. So if you are looking for this one as well - check your TRUs.

As well, they had quite a lot of the older Clone Wars deluxe units, with the 3 trooper packs, and the jedi packs. All were green which I have enough of for my needs, but if others are looking.....

I am an opener mega so if u havent packed them already u can take the figs out of the box..it cuts shipping down a bit,

Dont think so when it comes to Sw..althoug I still need a bunch of Jedis from AOTC but I dont have a list for them.

u see any older Spawn figs in stores s17-s22 ?

Cool about the Litho! I also heard some stores were giving out copies of the Entertainment Weekly all LOTR Special Collector's Edition with purchase. Either way, cool to get the unexpected bonus!! [img]cool.gif[/img]

I picked up Bubba @ Best Buy today for $19.99, and they seemed to have a few dozen of them around noon. tomorrow the price goes up to $22...

SS - the place I went had those to give out, but they had more preorders than they were issued lithos, so they were having to save them for the others when they came in to pick it up.

Jor - I may try to swing by the other Best Buy that isn't too far out of my way home to see if they have one. The thing is I was so gungho in wanting to get this one, now that I didn't get it in the run today, I seem to be back on the fence over it. [img]confused.gif[/img] Decisions Decisions.
